Hooray for Herbs
Thankful Arnold House Museum, 14 Hayden Hill Road, Haddam
Calling all kids! Join the Haddam Historical Society to learn about the herbs that Thankful Arnold and her family used in the early 19th century for cooking, cleaning, and medicinal reasons. Participants will plant some seedlings and seeds to take home and grow, plus create an herby craft!
This program is one of our Kid’s Membership activities scheduled for 2024. Click here for other programs and more about the Kid’s Membership. For additional information contact us at contact@haddamhistory.org or call 860-345-2400.
NOTE: We are trying a new third-party platform for ticketing. They do not charge fees, so we are able to receive the full benefit of your ticket purchase or donation. The platform will add an optional suggested contribution to allow them to continue offering their services to non-profit organizations free of charge.
Kid’s Membership annual dues are only $10 and allow free admission to one of our scheduled programs along with a 50% discount on all of the others—a value of $20 or more! You also get advance notice of special events and the opportunity to sign up first for youth programming prior to the public registration period.
All youth programs are open to the public; non-members pay $10 per event. A kid’s membership is valid for exactly one child, as named upon membership, and is not eligible to be transferred or shared. Kid’s Membership benefits are included in the Family Supporter and above ($30+ per year) membership categories of The Haddam Historical Society; at the Family Supporter and above levels of membership, ALL children living in the same household as the named member are eligible for Kid’s Membership benefits.
