Founders' Day Celebration

Thankful Arnold House Museum

Haddam Historical Society will host the 2025 Founders’ Day Celebration on Sunday, November 9, from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Thankful Arnold House Museum, 14 Hayden Hill Road, Haddam.

 The indoor/outdoor celebration will feature local craftspeople including Derek Collins who will demonstrate blacksmithing and the Second Sunday Fiber Artisans who will showcasing spinning. Visitors will have an opportunity to card wool and use a drop spindle. Other activities include making butter and quilting. The afternoon will also acknowledge the local Native Americans and Founding Families of Haddam and the 2025 Volunteer Award will be presented. Cider, Donuts and Cookies will be served.
