Local Historian Phil Devlin will present a fascinating talk on our area's contribution to the War for Independence and highlight those who sacrificed their livelihoods, families and lives in the name of Freedom. 

2026 marks the 250^th anniversary of the issuance of the Declaration of Independence. In honor of that historic event, communities across the New England and elsewhere are recalling their participation in the American Revolution. This presentation will focus on the various interesting stories of the towns in Middlesex County during the Revolutionary period with an emphasis  on Haddam, Killingworth, and Middletown.

The event will be free to HHS members and $5 for non-members
