Shad Museum Open

The historic Haddam Shad Museum will be open to visitors on Monday, October 12, 2026 from 10 am to 1 pm. The museum is in the former Bill Maynards fish house at 272 Saybrook Road on the far side of the playground. Stop by and visit with fisherman and learn more about Connecticut’s State Fish. You may here some interesting “fish tales.”
