The Haddam Historical Society is pleased to rollout our Fashion Flashback–Juniors' Program, made possible by a generous grant from the Community Foundation of Middlesex County through the Edmund T. and Barbara S. Delaney Fund.
Fashion enthusiasts aged 8 to 14 will explore the evolution of style through the 18th and 19th centuries and how changing roles in society, advances in textile production, and cultural influences drove fashion etiquette. Attendees will also try on reproductions of historic styles and even sketch their own design!
