Our celebration of America's 250th birthday continues with Hay, Hooves, Haddam–Juniors Program! On Sunday, August 9 from 1-2:30pm, kids aged 5 to 12 are invited to a local farm to learn about the provisions Haddam provided for the Revolutionary War effort. Participants will also watch a live blacksmith demonstration, visit with the farm animals, and check out a working sugar house.
This program supports the Haddam Historical Society’s mission to preserve, collect, interpret and promote the history and heritage of Haddam for present and future generations.
